The A1 course is where every learner starts. You'll learn to introduce yourself, greet people appropriately, and ask basic questions about names, where someone's from, and what they do. Working vocabulary builds around everyday essentials — numbers, time, food, family — while you get comfortable with the sound and rhythm of German. Grammar stays simple and practical: present tense, basic word order, and the articles that trip up most beginners. By the end of A1, you'll handle a slow, simple conversation as long as the other person meets you halfway.
