A2 is where German starts feeling less like a subject and more like a tool you use. You'll talk about your daily routine, your home, your work or studies, and simple past experiences — what you did yesterday, last week, on your last trip. Shopping, ordering food, asking for directions, and handling routine appointments all become manageable. Grammar expands to cover the past tense, more question types, and connecting words that let your sentences flow naturally. You'll also start picking up on tone — the difference between formal and casual German.
Who this level is for
Ideal for students who've completed A1 (with us or elsewhere) and want structured spoken German classes online that build real, everyday fluency before tackling B1.
