Germans usually talk about the future using ordinary present tense plus a time word — you already have the tools from A1! There's also a true future tense, Futur I (werden + infinitive), used for emphasis or promises.

Ich fahre morgen nach Berlin.
I'm going to Berlin tomorrow. (present, future meaning)

Memory trick: Futur I = werden (position 2) + infinitive (at the end) — exactly the same skeleton as a modal-verb sentence.
⚠ Common mistake: Don't overuse Futur I — in everyday conversation, present tense + a time word is far more natural and common.
